The invisible that makes all the difference

At Louv., even before choosing a fabric, we choose a structure: that of the elastic that will support everything. It is this foundational gesture, invisible to the eye, that determines the comfort, volume, and lifespan of each piece. We handcraft our creations in our Luxembourgish workshop.

  • Its structure

Each LOUV. starts with the choice of its structure. With distinct characters, selected even before the fabric. It is this
invisible foundation that determines everything else.

  • The fabric

We source our fabrics directly from the mills that supply major fashion houses. Silk, linen, velvet, crepe. Each material is chosen for its resonance with its structure.

  • The hand always

Precise topstitching, rolled edges, custom filling. Each piece is hand-assembled in our workshop in Luxembourg, never mass-produced, always with intention.

The gesture, then the material

Before color, before drape, even before the overall look of a piece, there's an internal decision. At LOUV., we see the scrunchie as much a structural object as a style accessory. The structure sets the rhythm; the material gives it its light.

It's in this balance that our line operates. A silk that's too soft doesn't respond to every elastic band. A linen that's too dry doesn't tell the same story about the silhouette. So we seek the right harmony:
where touch, hold, and feel become one single expression.

Nothing is added for effect. Every volume, every tension, every edge exists to serve the daily gesture and to ensure the piece endures over time.

  • Short supply chain

Fabrics sourced in Europe — Italy, France, Belgium. Full traceability from fiber to finished garment.

  • Durability

Designed to last, not to be replaced. Every LOUV. piece is created to stand the test of time and be passed down.

  • Verifiable quality

We know the origin of each fabric, the type of elastic, and the workshop number. Complete transparency.

Volume accuracy

We're looking for a clean drape, never artificially puffy. The scrunchie should maintain its presence without losing its hold.

Invisible comfort

Tension is distributed throughout the structure to hold without compressing. A piece must be unobtrusive yet perfectly in place.

Tactile reading

Each material is observed in the light, touched, crumpled, and put back down. What the eye perceives must be confirmed by the hand.
